Alison Carroll is the CEO of CLS, Ltd. In addition to coordinating larger projects, she personally handles translation and editing for many of her clients in a variety of subject areas. After over a decade in business, she has also developed a select team of experienced language professionals who share her commitment to quality and efficiency.

Alison is certified by the American Translators Association for French-to-English and Portuguese-to-English translation. She holds a B.A. in Romance Languages and Literature from Harvard University and a Master’s Degree in Latin American Studies and International Economics from The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.

Alison has three certificates in translation (French, German and Spanish into English) from Georgetown University and has completed training in community and medical interpreting in Portuguese and English.
